13 Times When You Should and Shouldn't Wear A Posture Brace

Posture Braces are a perfect solution to train your body for a healthier posture. These supports are most commonly used as posture aids but can also be used for treating clavicle injuries because of the way they hold your shoulders back and stabilize your collarbone. These multi-purpose supports are relatively inexpensive, especially when you consider how much money you’ll spend down the road if you don’t improve your posture and end up with chronic back and spine issues. If you are looking for a good posture support then look no further.

Here, at "NZK International" on Amazon, we only bring you the best quality products, with latest features in the market. We always hire a professional to design and test our products. So that, by the time it reaches to you through our rigorous quality control system, it must be the most safest option in the market with most consumer considerations taken.

There are tons of benefits from good posture like:

  1. Keeping bones and muscles aligned properly

  2. Reducing mental and physical fatigue and stress

  3. Preventing backache

  4. Helps with a positive physical appearance

  5. Prevents the spine from becoming fixed in abnormal positions

When to Wear a Posture Brace

Here are some legitimate situations to wear a posture brace. Whenever you are sitting for long periods of time or working with your hands out in front of you, you are susceptible to poor posture behavior. Since you can wear a posture brace underneath your clothes, there is no excuse not to be working on your posture during these activities:

  1. At the Office – It is common to hunch over your desk when you are intently focused on something, such as writing a long email or crunching numbers. Or during a long meeting - We’ve all sat through long, pointless meetings that seem like they’ll never end. Wearing a posture brace will help keep you alert in case your boss calls on you with a question.

  2. Binge-watching Netflix – Does your couch have a permanent butt-print that you sink right into? Do you find yourself saying “just one more…” again and again until all of the sudden its 4 am and you’ve finished a whole 2 lb bag of M&M’s? Try wearing a posture support next time you sit down to lounge, and you might feel less guilty about watching all 236 episodes of Friends.

  3. Reading – Whether you are reading a book, flipping through a magazine, or scrolling through your Facebook newsfeed it is easy to get engrossed in reading and forget to practice good posture.

  4. iPad – Whatever you are doing on your iPad is your business, but if you are one of those poor souls who is trying to beat all 1,645 levels of Candy Crush, we suggest wearing a posture brace while doing so. Because holding your arms out in front of you for hours on end contributes to neck and shoulder pain, it would also be wise to invest in a good iPad stand.

  5. Cooking – Whether you’re ordering in pizza or popping a frozen one in, this would be a great convenient time to get in some ‘brace time’.

  6. Vacuuming or sweeping – Posture related upper back and neck pain can be aggravated when doing activities that require bending and/or working with your arms out in front of you.

  7. Walking – It wouldn't be recommended to run a full marathon in the brace, but going for a long walk on the beach would be fine.

When Not to Wear a Posture Brace

  1. Swimming (either leisure or competitively) A soggy posture brace may not be the most comfortable thing to be wearing. Plus, you can’t take first place in the 25-yard backstroke with restricted arms.

  2. At the Club  While having good posture is definitely an attractive feature, it probably won’t help you pick up the opposite gender. And if it does, you might be attracting the wrong type.

  3. Hunting Whether you are using a bow, a gun, throwing knives, a blow-dart gun, or a grenade, having a posture brace won’t give you the full range to bring down that 12 point buck.

  4. The Tanning Bed  This would be quite the awkward explanation. “Well, Mertyl. By the looks of those tan lines, it appears that you wore your bikini backward.” The worst part is that they won’t even be surprised.

  5. Twerking  On second thought, just don’t do this ever.

  6. Committing a burglary  While pulling off a burglary can be an exhilarating time, don’t let anything hold you back. Not a posture brace. Not a dead-bolted door.
